Big Beautiful World 23 -- Sunrise, Notre Dame, Paris

It’s a big, beautiful world out there. Let’s stop trying to screw it up. Happy New Year, and warm greetings from the frozen wastelands of central PA! Yes, it's cold. Yes, it's winter, but this is like living in the set of Frozen, only without the funny snowman friend. Here's to warm blankets and hot beverages. Recently, George and I went to Paris to celebrate my 29th birthday (again! And again, and again.... :) ) and went to feast our eyes on the majesty of the Cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris. I've seen it before but it is extraordinary. I'll say more about the interior in another post but for now, here is the main entrance, with the sun peeking out from behind the side of the building.It was not a bad way to start the day. Now, go have a relaxing and peaceful New Year's Day, and give yourself some time to reflect on the opportunities peeking around your corner, too.
