IT'S ALIIIIIIIIVE!!!!

No, I mean seriously.  It's alive.  I finally worked up the nerve to revive the sourdough starter I ordered.  For free, from Carl's 1847 Oregon Trail Sourdough.  So I have this  bowl of flour and water and yeasts and lactobacillus culture festering and growing and breathing in my kitchen.

I couldn't be more delighted.

Someday you will be delicious, oh yes.  Yeeeeeeeeeeeeessss.

One more brick laid in my future empire of fermented foodstuffs.
